A little update
💻 A Little Update From Wanda
Good afternoon!
Yes, I said afternoon. Shocking, I know. I’m usually a morning gal, but let’s be honest—writers gotta write when the words show up, not when the sun does.
🧽 Giving the Old Stories New Life
Lately, I’ve been digging into my older stories—the ones I wrote when I was still figuring out what buttons to push and what tone felt like me.
I’ve been giving them a good polish, rewriting them with fresh eyes and sharper words. Think of it as spring cleaning, but for my storytelling soul.
Now that I know my way around this website of mine, I’m finally putting them where they belong—front and center for all of you to read (or reread, if you’re one of my early birds).
✍️ New Chapters, Fresh Starts
My new goal? One story a day.
Yep. I’ve got plenty to say, and I’m saying it more clearly (and with fewer typos) than ever. And while I’m revamping the oldies, I’m also hard at work on something brand new: a book about Jason.
If you read Struggles at the River’s Edge, you already know Jason and Sally hit the lottery—and things went sideways.
Now I’m following Jason’s path to figure out what on earth he’s going to do next. (Spoiler: it's not always the right thing. But that’s what makes it fun.)
📚 From Facebook to First Book
Some of my stories first showed up as ramblings on Facebook—little updates, observations, and mini rants that seemed to strike a chord.
Well, those musings got bundled into my first book, Wanda’s Wonderful Words.
Reading back through them makes me laugh... and cringe just a little. But hey, that’s what growth looks like, right? Slightly awkward, mostly honest, and never boring.
💬 I’m All Ears
Even with all this writing, I’m never too busy for you.
If something I write makes you smile, snort, shake your head, or even want to throw your phone across the room—I want to know about it.
There’s a little comment box at the end of each post for just that.
Drop me a note. Tell me what hit home. Or what made you roll your eyes. I love it all.
🎁 Something Special Is Coming...
And before I forget—I’ve got a little thank-you surprise in the works. Just a small token to say I appreciate every single one of you who reads, shares, and supports my ramblings.
It’s coming soon.
Maybe even before Jason gets his act together.
Until next time,
💛 Wanda
